Meeting and Exceeding the Challenge

The Ritual repeats every Spring. Dozens of automotive writers descend on a track site and nearby driving areas to determine what they believe are the best new cars on the market.

The entries come from all the automotive manufacturers, each hoping to be named best in their class. This year, there were also related vendors like CarMd, Escort, and The Texas Driving Challenge

The 2010 Texas Automotive Writers Association had a near perfect event. (a flat tire on a performance car hardly counts)

We started with a delicious lunch at Daimlier Financial Services. They treated us to a tour of their art collection and helicopter rides over the Alliance airport. It definitely started the event on a high note

The weather cooperated and we drove beneath beautiful blue skies.

After driving around and around (which sometimes seemed like driving in circles) our heads were swirling with impressions and choices.
